“Equiderma is more than just a business. It’s an opportunity to help an animal. It’s about compassion. It’s a way of connecting with people and helping them with the animals they love. It’s about providing effective, reliable solutions. They say that all products are the same, but we say different.”
“Equiderma may not be able to solve all the world’s problems, but when it comes to making a difference in your horse’s care, there isn’t much it can’t do. It’s about worrying less and enjoying your horse more. It’s about peace of mind.”
A Letter from Bethany
“Hello, Welcome to Equiderma. So glad you’re here.
I’m Bethany Padgett, founder, and CEO of Equiderma and For the Love of Dogs products. I’ve been an avid horse woman and devoted lover of animals all of my life. I owned and operated a respected equestrian center for dressage and hunter/jumper in central Florida. During that time, I founded a 501c3 rescue for all animals in need. That was twenty years ago and is where this amazing journey began.Every day, I devoted myself to healing the animals in my care. Over time I became more and more frustrated with the grooming and skin care products available to me. Like many of you can most likely relate, I had a medicine cabinet filled with products that failed to deliver on their claims. Meanwhile, there was an animal that continued to suffer from the lack of effective products. With so many animals relying on me I finally had enough. Necessity truly was the mother of invention and I decided to make it my life’s mission to create products that performed quickly, effectively, predictably and most of all painlessly. Equiderma Skin Lotion was my first product, born for my own personal use in my barns. As fate would have it, there was a business there and at the urging of a great man of vision, Jonathon Greenlaw, our first manufacturer and my early mentor, Equiderma became a business. In those early days, Equiderma quickly became the “go to” solution at our rescue and equestrian center. I would often hear voices ringing out, “Hey Bethany, where’s your blue stuff?”.

Buildings by Alpha…A Wise Investment
Alpha buildings are built on pressure-treated skids that keep them off the ground, and also provide ease of movement should you decide to move your building from one location to another. They have an 8″ minimum overhang to help protect the sides from the elements and are sided with 5/8″ T1-11 siding that can be painted or stained. All floors are built with 2×4 floor joists, 12″ on center with 5/8″ flooring – 3/4″ can be added as a custom option. We use 25 year shingle with metal drip edge for our roofing.

Overlake Farm is the oldest horse farm in Bellevue, Overlake Farm provides exceptional horse-centered service at a reasonable price. Overlake Farm was established nearly 70 years ago before there was a bridge across Lake Washington! Offering Horse Boarding in the Pasture or Full-Service Stall. We want you to know your horse’s health is our primary concern. Although we offer stalls, we also believe your horse should be outside all day, as nature intended. Horses are healthiest when they are allowed to move around, graze green grass, enjoy the sun on their backs, and socialize with other horses. If a horse is physically and emotionally happy, they are more responsive to you!
Located conveniently in Bellevue, Washington, Overlake Farm has been sharing its experience and love for horses, animals, and nature with people of all ages for over 70 years. This year we are pleased to offer summer Horse and Farm Camps for children aged 5-11. Our camps are focused on an introductory experience for young children who have little or no riding experience. In addition to horse related activities, each camper will participate in outdoor exploration and farm life.
